Babies and Toddlers
Jam Tots is our baby program for 0-3 year olds. We meet downstairs in the nursery after worship – parents are welcome to stay. Our purpose is to provide a safe, fun, and spiritually nurturing environment. There are stories, songs, snacks time and plenty of toys to keep your little ones engaged and happy while they are here. Children
Kid Jam – Kids In Discipleship 2B Jesus Army of Ministers
For children age 3 - Grade 6, we have Kid Jam classes which meet downstairs after worship. Kid Jam includes creative Bible teaching, fun application activities, missions projects and Bible memorization. Kids can earn Kid Jam dollars to spend in our reward shop. Our "Jam Leaders" are volunteers from our congregation who love God, love kids, and are gifted at discipling children. All leaders undergo criminal record checks.

Teens
Bay Youth Group
Teen program for Grades 7 to adult
BYG (pronounced "big") is the Bay Youth Group that welcomes all youth who are in grade 7 and up. BYG meets Sunday mornings during the church service (10:30-11:30 am), except Family Sunday. BYG also does special events from time to time. Bay teens are also encouraged to take the opportunity to be involved with pastor Richard in Comox Valley Youth For Christ activities. YU Underground: Wednesdays 7:00pm till 9:00pm at Valley View school.
August 15th, Saturday - There will be a BYG Beach Bash! Games, tubing, try water-skiing and wake boarding. You don’t want to miss this! Meet at 1:00pm at Rich & Tiff’s (1410 Glen Urquhart Drive, Courtenay). Bring towel, sun screen, modest bathing suit (no bikinis), and water bottle. Pick up at 6:00pm at Rich & Tiff’s. Hope to see you all there!
Sept. 5th - There will be no BYG (youth stay in service).
Sept. 12th – BYG restarts for the fall season.
Adult Small Groups
This is the best way to really experience being a part of Bay. In our small groups we share our stories, build friendships, grow as disciples through Bible study and application, and support one another in prayer. We discover our gifts and talents, and we serve and reach out together.
Most of our small groups meet weekly for about two hours. Groups use Bible-based study material including topics like prayer, parenting, evangelism, and books of the Bible. Every year or so we do a church-wide study together.
If you’re committed to Bay as your church family you could become a small group host or leader.

Prayer
At Bay we believe God answers prayer. We look for ways to incorporate prayer into our life as a church.
Breakthrough Prayer
This is Sundays 9:15-9:45 am. Join us to pray for the Sunday service, for all who will attend, and the people serving in various Sunday ministries.
Corporate Prayer
This is Mondays 7:00-8:00 am. Here we pray for our community and our nation, for our families, our church, and our missionaries, for people who don’t yet know Jesus.
Prayer Chain

Sunday Prayer Ministry
After our Sunday services, prayer ministry is available for anyone wanting a divine intervention, wisdom, healing, or any need to be met by God.
Sunshine Lunch Club
